Pevex in the USA was a one-man company run by Leo Heska, who
liked the name "Pewex" from his days living in Poland. It turns
out that Americans pronounce "Pevex" not as "peh-vex" (rhymes with
"FedEx"), but rather "pee-vex" (which sounds like someone emptying
their bladder while in an angry mood). For this, and because the
Polish-American IT computing connection is already well established,
exploited, and served, Leo no longer uses the business names "Pevex" or
"Pewex". Leo still works in IT, and still speaks Polish and loves
Poland, and you may still contact him at leo(at)pevex(dot)com.
